Product Engineer - Indianapolis headquartered company

We are initiating a search for a new position with an Indianapolis headquartered manufacturer. This Product Engineer will report directly to the Engineering Manager and be an integral part of a small engineering team known for product innovation and patent generation.

Here is a full job description:

POSITION TITLE: Product Engineer

REPORTS TO: Engineering Manager

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for all Engineering documentation related to sustaining existing products, creating Sales Specials, and developing new products (ECO’s, Part documentation, BOM’s, BOO’s, Detail Drawings, Ass’y Drawings). Has deep and broad knowledge of Company Products. Works closely with manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and vendors to insure all quality objectives are met. Supports New Product Development initiatives, responsible for detail design and modeling. Quickly and accurately models parts and products in 3-d using Inventor. Check’s Drawing tolerance(ing) to insure non-interference in all fits. Troubleshoot problems and discuss solutions with all appropriate personnel to assure quality, safety, production, and plant profitability are met. Support sales and operations as required through processing ECO’s and Sales Specials.


ROLE PRIORITIES:
1. Designs and fully documents Sales Specials.
2. Supports New Product Development, thru detail design, modeling and documentation.
3. Troubleshoots and solves product related operations issues (ECO’s)
4. Updates and revises product documentation (manuals, templates, etc.) as required.
5. Support Sales as needed
6. Support Quality

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Troubleshoots and resolves problems as necessary (ECR/ECO)
o maintain all ECO & ECR records and files

• Supports sales in design and all engineering documentation necessary for Sales Specials.

• Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes, methods, equipment, tooling and inspection.

• New Product Development; responsible for Detail design, modeling, detail drawings, owners manual, partslist, sales templates, BOM’s, BOO’s, etc.. Supported by Designer.

• Directs install and fabrication in production of new products and sales specials.

• Ability to prioritize projects

• Support Mfg., responding to any and all questions (parts, assembly, installations, etc.)

• Manages development and maintenance of Sales templates, work instructions and parts list manuals/literature, etc.

• Edits existing procedures sheets, bill of materials, and bills of operations in Data Works system as well as assembling them for new products.

• Create Part numbers and product structures in Data Works (BOM’s, BOO’s).

• Support Sales responding to any and all field questions regarding product issues.

• Develops knowledge of industry.

• Manages projects from inception through completion- including prototyping, first article inspection, and testing.

Financial Representative - Investment Advisory - Indianapolis

We are initiating a search for an experienced investment advisor for an established Indianapolis financial institution with a ground floor start up opportunity in investment management services.

SUMMARY:
Responsible for ensuring that outstanding service is delivered to all clients. The position of Financial Representative exists to increase the market share of the BROKERAGE’s and Company’s products and services in the community. The Financial Representative will maximize the member centric sales model and achieve quality growth of new business relationships. The Financial Representative will be responsible for acquiring new business that results in the financial objectives, goals and institutional growth targets established by the Senior Financial Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Representatives will assume responsibility for their own effective sales performance as directed by the Senior Financial Manager:
a. Make assigned number of face-to-face and telephone sales calls per week.
b. Prospects for new clents through active participation at community events, chamber networking activity, employer enrollments, and referrals from other professionals.
c. Identify and profile target member businesses and employer groups for sales presenations.
d. Tracks sales through closing.
e. Meets established sales goals.
f. Ensures that sales accounts are serviced in accordance with Company standards and policies.

Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining good business relations with co-workers, clients, members, businesses, associates, and community leaders.
a. Actively promote the benefits of company membership at all times.
b. Obtains client feedback and continually works to improve products and services.
c. Resolves client requests, complaints, and problems.
d. Conducts sales presentations
e. Promotes goodwill and conveys a positive image of the BROKERAGE and the Company.

Actively communicates between BROKERAGE and Company divisions, departments, and branch offices to ensure efficient daily operations.

Serves as representative in professional, business, and community organizations to promote financial services.

Makes decisions in accordance with applicable government laws, regulations and policies as established by the Board of Directors.

Schedules and assists the Senior Financial Manager in training of the Company employees on the services offered to the membership through the BROKERAGE.

Maintains records and copies of BROKER/DEALER policy renewal dates and premiums along with any other related insurance.

Prepares insurance reports on a monthly basis including, but not limited to, credit insurance penetration and reports to appropriate insurance vendors. Also prepares an accidental death and dismemberment insurance report to insurance vendor.

Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Employee will work under the general supervision of the Senior Financial Manager. Daily work assignments are performed independently. Refers to supervisor for assistance to resolve more complex member problems. The work is routinely reviewed for accuracy, timeliness and courtesy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or a minimum of two years successful sales experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Senior Investment Advisory Manager - Indianapolis

We are initiating a search for an experienced investment advisor for an established Indianapolis financial institution with a ground floor start up opportunity in investment management services.

SUMMARY:

To develop a highly effective team of employees and developing each employee to their highest potential through coaching and leadership. Is responsible for ensuring that outstanding service is delivered to both Company members and non-members (“Clients”). A key service component is to ensure each employee identifies clients’ financial needs and suggests appropriate BROKERAGE solutions.

Provides overall leadership, vision, and cohesiveness for the BROKERAGE investment services, insurance services, and other BROKERAGE programs. Having an understanding of the financial services and insurance industry and its future trends, works to achieve financial soundness, competitive products, and customer satisfaction. Directs the development, implementation, marketing and administration of key services and strategies, effective and efficient processes, technological solutions, and staff development. Empowered to act as the Senior Financial Manager for Investment and Insurance Services channel for BROKERAGE and to manage all strategic and operational aspects of the business. Initiates advisory and sales services to Clients. Coordinates the cooperative effort with the Company CEO and senior staff to maximize member referrals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides the Board of Directors with monthly financial results, targets, key performance factors, and analyses of critical issues. Alerts the Board to potential areas of concern and possible deviation from intended business results.

Develops and manages business plans and annual budgets for the investment services, insurance services and other BROKERAGE services. Manages annual budget to achieve financial goals. Recommends new product and service opportunities consistent with the organization's business direction and implements those approved by the BROKERAGE Board.

Ensures effective and efficient business procedures and processes. This includes the development and administration of systems and data bases. Directs compliance with federal and state regulations, insurance underwriters, and REGULATOR guidelines. Promotes quality control as an integral part of all processes within the company's office. Leads efforts in continuous process improvements. Ensures the effectiveness of business controls through review, analysis, and verification. Has overall ownership for smooth operation of business services provided to customers.

Creates and maintains an environment where high morale, cooperation, employee self-motivation, and professionalism may be achieved; maintains staff focus on quality and customer satisfaction; ensures customer awareness of products through education/member seminars, advertising/marketing materials, and promotional programs.

Manages the interactions with all regulators and examiners – both internal and external – in conjunction with the investment services, insurance services and other BROKERAGE services offerings to clients.

Defines and drives the implementation of major initiatives on a collaborative basis between staff and Company management. Also includes new concepts and solutions, such as products and services, technology, etc.

Responsible for personal sales production as permitted by NASD and State of Indiana Insurance licenses held. Meet or exceed personal sales goals as established by the annual approved budget or adjusted budget.

Responsible monthly for FCSC and FISC reports that include Board reports, minutes of meetings, and accounting reports.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or 10 years of equivalent work experience preferred
• 10+ years in the financial services industry
• 7+ years of sales and sales management experience with proven leadership skills
